Fujikawa 27 posted a picture to Instagram accompanied by a caption explaining his decision to come out. He told Outsports that he had not come out to anyone in the professional golf world until Tuesday’s post. “The love and support have been overwhelming” he said.
As a press release for the tournament notes “This is not a lottery contest sweepstakes or ‘give-away’ but rather a pre-qualification for those persons wishing to purchase tickets to the Augusta National Women’s Amateur Championship.”
His approach to commentary has drawn the ire of some pros including Tiger Woods who said Chamblee is good “for people who don’t play the game” with a grin at this year’s Players.
