As a press release for the tournament notes “This is not a lottery contest sweepstakes or ‘give-away’ but rather a pre-qualification for those persons wishing to purchase tickets to the Augusta National Women’s Amateur Championship.”
The highly anticipated addition to the run-up to Masters week — a women’s amateur event beginning in 2019 — will make things look very different in early April. Beyond the most obvious differences the production will also look different as NBC Sports has won the broadcasting rights to the event.
Tickets will be available for all three rounds. If you successfully acquire passes to the first two rounds your entry will be free. Passes for the final round at Augusta National will run you $75.
Over two days of surveying at the PGA Championship and the Wyndham Championship 59 players participated including four major winners one 2018 major winner and three of the top-20 players in the world. The result? Sweet sweet candor.

It’s a champion who pushes the young people and develops the sport” Riboud said. “That’s what Yannick Noah Roland Garros and Jean-Claude Killy did. We need a champion. An emergency crew soon arrived and transported Whitt to a local hospital where he miraculously survived. According to story the chance of survival in a situation like that is roughly 2%. Just days later Whitt stopped by the golf course to meet the man who saved his life.
McCullough well trained in the golf swing has also trained as an EMT. He sprang into action rushing to the 15th tee box to apply “aggressive CPR” to resuscitate Whitt who didn’t have a pulse when McCullough arrived on the scene.
